La Quinta Inn By Wyndham Tampa Near Busch Gardens, Tampa

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms needed maintenance as the outlets were not working properly and some were falling out of the wall. However, they were clean and conveniently located near parking. One downside was a horrible smell in the rooms, and the lack of standard microwaves and refrigerators was inconvenient for families with kids. The free breakfast lacked meat options.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were okay; the bed sheets and bathroom were clean, but it was quite loud, and the smell of cigarettes was off-putting. The location was ideal for my purpose, being close to a park and restaurants, although not the safest. The service was a bit inconsistent; while they were quick to respond, there were oversights with breakfast and room cleaning that needed to be clarified. The dining experience was mediocre, with minimal options, and the facilities were average.

Upon entering the room, I noticed a musty smell when the air conditioning was on, and the sink drained slowly. However, the room itself was very clean and quiet, and I enjoyed the updated game room. The hotel's service was a bit lacking as they took away the milk container without replacing it, but one staff member was exceptionally friendly and even provided helpful tips for getting to Busch Gardens without a car. Despite needing some improvements, the hotel's location was very convenient, especially for visitors to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. The dining experience was a mixed bag, with good food but limited hot options and some overcrowding due to ongoing construction. Overall, it's a decent option for those looking to be close to the theme parks.
